Volume Booster: Bass & EQ tunes your sound for music, video, podcasts and calls.

The app is built around four tabs. Boost holds the volume dial: one ring you drag, with the current level in the middle. Equalizer holds the bands and the tone controls. Profiles keeps your sound scenes and per-output setups. More holds the settings.

Sound scenes One tap loads a full setup - boost, bass and clarity together. Every scene shows what it changes before you apply it: Music, Calls, Outdoor, Quiet room and Commute.

Equalizer - 5 or 10 band equalizer - Ready-made presets: Rock, Pop, Bass Boost, Vocal, Movie, Podcast, Night, Jazz and more - Tone controls for bass, wide sound and voice clarity - Reverb presets where the device supports them - Save your own curves and reuse them

Device profiles Keep a different setup for the phone speaker, wired headphones, Bluetooth audio, car audio and USB audio. A saved profile comes back on its own when you plug in or connect.

Smart protection The app watches boost, bass and width together for the current output and pulls back whatever would clip first. Safe sound trims the level before it starts to crackle, and the anti-distortion limiter holds peaks back.

Sound wizard Three questions - where you listen, what you play, what matters most - and then a profile tuned for your gear.

Volume Booster works best on devices that support Android audio effects. Results vary with the phone, tablet, Android version and connected audio device. Some devices do not let apps raise volume above the system maximum; the app checks for this and tells you when it is the case.

Use audio boost carefully. Very high volume or aggressive sound settings may affect hearing, speakers or other audio hardware.
